Abi Ray, a counselor and creative, approached me to help brand her new publication project. Launching Fall/Winter 2017, Legacy Magazine's mission is to highlight the unique stories of service members and their families in a classic and sophisticated medium. As a result, the branding needed to be modern and minimal, and also convey "military" without being overt. I developed a color scheme that is reminiscent of military branches - Midnight (Navy), Arcadian Green (Army) and Dove Grey (Air Force and Marines). I also chose simple fonts that would not distract for the photo and content-heavy focus of the publication. Stay tuned, there's much more to come from this partnership!
